Frequently Asked Questions
So, how long does it take?
Our treatments typically take 20-30 minutes for one-liter of IV fluid. These times may vary a bit depending on if you get add-on services like a B-12 shot or an extra liter of fluid. To speed up the total time, we recommend you printing and filling out the screening paperwork ahead of time. The paperwork can be found here.
Who administers the IVs?
All of our customers are treated by a registered nurse or physician. Pro Hydration’s mission is to ensure that we have the highest quality medical staff so that you will have the best experience possible. If you are a nurse who would like to join our team, feel free to contact us by clicking here.
If I hate needles, should I avoid IV hydration?
We do everything that we can to make the experience as safe and comfortable as we can. Our highly-trained nursing staff makes certain that your IV is administered in the most professional way. We often serve customers that feel uncomfortable with needles, and they praise us on making the process easy and relaxing.
What are in the IVs?
The IVs we use contain the “Lactated Ringer’s solution” which basically means it is a blend of saline and electrolytes in a perfectly balanced solution. On top of that, we can add Toradol and/or Zofran. Toradol is used to reduce moderate-to-severe pain/inflammation while Zofran is used to relieve GI distress/nausea. What are the benefits?
There are countless benefits to making sure that your body is at optimal hydration levels, but the reason you should use IV hydration in particular is because it is the fastest, most efficient way to hydrate. Also, our IVs have the ideal balance of fluids and electrolytes to ensure you are in the best position to perform and recover.
